GUS
Networks Establishes Alliance with AM1300
Baldwin Park, Calif. (Aug. 12, 1998) GUS Networks, Inc., an
international total networking solution provider, announces a five-year
alliance with KAZN AM1300, the largest and most renowned Chinese
radio station in Southern California. It is the first and only Chinese
radio station to broadcast 24hours a day, 7 days a week, year-round.
GUS agrees to exchange its services for KAZN airtime.
In
accordance with the terms of the agreement, GUS will design KAZN's
web site and provide web-hosting service with T1 Internet connection.
The web site has the ability to broadcast online on real time using
real audio. It also contains features such as topic of the month,
a voting poll, a flea market, chat rooms, personal relationship
ads, real estate, and job searches. In return, GUS will obtain thirty-second
radio commercial and a half-hour radio promotional feature program.
Both companies will share exclusive rights and ownership of KAZN
web site banners.
The
alliance will foster a familiarity with GUS products and services
throughout the Asian community and give KAZN a technological edge
over its radio competition.
Executives
at GUS view this alliance as a beneficial and essential step towards
establishing presence in the Chinese community. "We want the GUS
name to be a household name in the Asian community in Southern California,
and the only way to do it is through KAZN" says Jeff Yang, Vice
President of GUS Networks, Inc.
